Steve Falconer:

Steve has been active in developing lacrosse in Central Massachusetts for the past 8 years. He started the boys lacrosse program at Northbridge High School in 2002 and has watched it grow from 15 boys in the spring of 2003 to a program that now has teams compete on both the JV and Varsity levels. The NHS boys lacrosse team has made the Central Massachusetts lacrosse tournament 5 times in its history, advancing to the semi-finals in 2009. He was named US Lacrosse Man of the Year in 2006 and US Lacrosse Coach of the Year in 2009 by the Central Mass Lacrosse Coaches Association. In 2010 he was selected by US Lacrosse to coach in the Champion HS Showcase at the ESPN wide world of sports in Orlando, FL taking part in an event that featured the top 96 HS seniors in the US.

He also helped found the Northbridge Youth Lacrosse Association in the spring of 2009. Northbridge Youth Lacrosse was able to field teams at the  U-9, 11, 13 and 15 levels last spring.

He was employed by Team Central elite lacrosse as the U-17 Director and Head Coach from 2004 to 2010, coaching several players who have continued onto collegiate lacrosse at all levels, including D-1 championship programs.

He has also been an assistant football coach for Northbridge High School for 10 seasons and has been fortunate enough to watch the Rams win 4 HS Super Bowls in that time.
